Charles Hill
Lead & Founding Pastor
Charles and his wife, Sheila, met while attending Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL. After earning a Master's Degree in Counseling from Troy State University, Charles and Sheila married and followed God's calling to Ocala in the mid-1980s to plant a church in Marion County. Before launching Family Life Church, Charles served as Assistant Pastor at Belleview First Assembly of God.
In 2004, Charles, Sheila, their four children, and two other families started Family Life Church, holding services in a hotel until 2016. Today, they are proud parents of four adult children and grandparents to multiple grandchildren. Charles is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God.
David Hill
Executive Pastor
David, the third son of Charles, has been actively involved with Family Life Church since its founding in 2004. He earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication from UCF and later attended the District School of Ministry for seminary. In 2018, he became an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. David and his wife, Brittany, are proud parents of four sons.
This team oversees the development of the spiritual life of the church.
Our Pastoral Elders are Charles Hill, David Hill, and Santosh Abraham
Our Trustees are members of the congregation who oversee church finances and ensure the provision of necessary facilities. They offer counsel to the Pastoral Elders on major financial decisions and provide accountability to the Lead Pastor.
Our Stewardship Trustees are Terry Dean, Janeil Campbell, and Daniel Eckleman.
