Why We Give

One of the top competitors for our devotion to Jesus is money, and so when we give, we demonstrate that He is more important to us than material things. There's 2 options we have towards our money: we can be mastered by our money, or master our money. Therefore, we strategically and sacrificially invest into eternity and help the local church grow the kingdom of God. As we like to say around here, the only thing you can take to heaven are other people.

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:19-21
